“Every day is different”. How many people can say this about their job? A good estate agent can.

Arriving at the office between 8am and 8.30am, you’ll spend time researching property sales, compiling comparable reports for clients, arranging viewings and showing buyers or tenants around properties, obtaining feedback from prospective buyers and tenants and updating clients on progress. Offers have to be dealt with by negotiators and new “instructions” from clients eager to sell or landlords wanting us to find tenants have to be processed quickly and efficiently, advertised in the press and on the internet. Photos need uploading and mailshots sending, e-mails have to be answered and sales progressed.

The feeling you get when you hand keys out to new buyers or tenants is wonderful and having the client come in with flowers, chocolates and wine as a thank-you is almost as good as banking the fee!

You are limited simply by how much effort you put in to each day and how efficient you are at managing your time.
